Where – It All Began

In 1997, Steve left his job at SAIC and started Mallsoft Inc., which provides E-Business services to small and medium-sized businesses and retail stores. During this time, Mallsoft created an Enterprise Web Hosting Service called InstaHost and an e-commerce solution called InstaOrder. InstaOrder was a robust e-commerce solution that worked alongside a Microsoft .NET Content Management System (CMS). In 2010, InstaHost web hosting services and customers were acquired by EPHost, and Telerik INC acquired the InstaOrder e-commerce Services in building the next-generation CMS called Sitefinity.

When – He’s Not Working

Steve enjoys working and learning new and emerging internet technologies. Steve also volunteers for several non-profits. “Matters Athletic,” which supports athletes excluded from organized sports due to racial and economic barriers. And Lee& Beulah Moor Children’s Home, located in El Paso, Texas, provides various services to children, including residential care, foster care, group homes, adoption, community outreach, individual and family counseling, independent living skills training, a college program, and more. Steve is also an avid supporter of Water For People, a non-profit company his father helped to establish in the 1980s.
